Enjoying the gardens and landscape well into the night is always a challenge as it gets dark. Yes I have solar lights and path lights here and there, but here a few less typical ideas to extend your evening.
The site selling these recommends them for pathways, which would be really fun but I’m thinking they would be great around a pond or just strategically placed within a garden bed. They come in three different colors. They have to be attached to a solar power source, but are easy to install. When motion is detected, 4 bright LEDs automatically illuminates inside of each fixture. More info.
Glow-in-the-Dark Spray Paint
This sounds so fun, I can see myself randomly spraying a whole multitude of garden décor and plant stands with it. This luminous paint that creates a glowing effect in the dark after being charged by natural or artificial light. The glowing effect can last up to 4-8 hours. This is a Canadian product that is eco-friendly, safe for dogs, chickens and kids, plus it is like adding fireflies to your landscape throughout the season. CORE Glow luminescent products, when exposed to daylight, will maintain an afterglow, initially very radiant, then slowly dissipating as dawn arrives. They are reported to last 20 years! I have a French drain that would look fun with these. More info.
